The Covid Chronicles: April 15

April 15, 2020

April 15

  • Total Cases in North Texas: 4,223
  • Total Deaths in North Texas: 101

Today is typically Tax Day, but the filing period for 2019 has been extended to July 15.

Is that the good news or the bad news for this entry? Guess it depends on if you expect to owe or not.

More testing is always good

More testing news. @Walgreens will open two North Texas testing sites at 2060 S Buckner Blvd in Dallas and 8600 Camp Bowie West in Ft Worth! Sites won’t be ready for several days. Once operational, each site will provide 160 free test per day. Thank you @Walgreens #MikeUmbleby 👊 pic.twitter.com/LDgDjeE8xY

Meanwhile, someone is getting a funky high on a yellow sun...

Overheard on the scanner...

MedStar is transporting a patient to JPS who has reportedly recovered from both COVID-19 and the flu because he claims “he is Superman.”
